LYNSEY'S STORY
From a young age, Lynsey knew she was destined to create. What began as a love for drawing and painting soon evolved into a passion for designing and crafting unique jewelry. Her artistic journey truly began in 2004 while pursuing a degree in Applied Design at San Diego State University, where she developed her skills in jewelry making.
Lynsey honed her craft during a seven-year apprenticeship with a master jeweler in San Diego, where she expanded her expertise in custom design and fine metalsmithing. Her artistic growth continued as she designed bespoke pearl jewelry for Pearl Collective in Los Angeles, an experience that helped her work gain international recognition. Her creations have been featured in top publications such as Vogue, Elle, InStyle, and JCK magazines, as well as various fashion editorials worldwide.
In 2017, Lynsey founded Forged in Space, a custom jewelry design company that embodies her passion for creating unique pieces and sharing the stories behind the materials she uses. At Forged in Space, clients can commission custom designs and shop Lynsey’s exclusive jewelry collections.
